Switching from PushPress?

ClassIQ vs PushPress

PushPress nails the modern basics: clean apps, real waiver gates, QR kiosk check-in, and a $0 entry plan. Look at the whole bill, though. The Free plan processes cards at 4.99% + 30¢, marketing lives in a $329/mo Grow add-on, the branded app is another ~$97, and their own pricing page sums the full stack at about $559/mo. ClassIQ ships the comparable surface — pipeline, campaigns, journeys, retail, progression — at one flat price with 0% added to Stripe's published rate.

Why owners move from PushPress.

Free that costs 4.99%

The $0 plan monetizes through its processing spread: at $10,000/mo of card volume, 4.99% + 30¢ is roughly $500 a month — more than most software subscriptions in this market. Run the math on your own volume before calling anything free.

The Grow toll

Lead pipeline, campaigns, automations, two-way messaging, and websites sit in Grow at $329/mo on top of your plan. In ClassIQ, the pipeline, campaigns, journeys, and two-way messaging are part of the one price.

Rank tracking behind a tier

Belt tracking arrived in 2025 and requires Pro ($159) or Max ($229) — and there is no grading-event workflow at any tier. ClassIQ includes progression tracks, assessments, cohort test-day rosters, and paid gradings.

Fair is fair

Where PushPress genuinely wins.

A genuinely free front door

If cash is tight and volume is low, $0 software with unlimited members is a real offer — you accept the processing spread and 48-hour support instead. Nothing else in the category starts free.

Train + Screens

Workout programming delivery (Train) and in-gym display screens are polished ecosystem pieces ClassIQ has no equivalent for.

Staff app with Tap to Pay

Selling retail and checking members in from a phone, no hardware, is genuinely slick front-desk UX.

If those are the features your studio runs on, PushPress may be the right tool — and this page should make that easy to see.

The math nobody prints

Do the 4.99% math before celebrating $0.

On $10,000 a month of card payments, the Free plan's 4.99% + 30¢ comes to roughly $500 — more than Pro's $159 subscription plus its 2.89% rate, and well past ClassIQ's $99 plus Stripe's published 2.9% + 30¢. The free plan is a processing-rate plan wearing a costume. At real volume, published flat pricing wins.

Switching is our job, not yours.

Done-for-you migration

Export your members from PushPress (or hand us the spreadsheet) and we import them — mapped, previewed, and verified before anything goes live. Included, not an add-on.

Your Stripe account, not ours

Payments run on a Stripe account you own. Saved cards and payment history stay yours — including if you ever leave ClassIQ.

No contract holding the door

Month-to-month, no setup fee, CSV export any time. If ClassIQ stops earning its keep, leaving is a download — the same standard we'd hold PushPress to.

Common questions.

Do I own my Stripe account with PushPress? With ClassIQ?
Both, to be fair — PushPress provisions a Stripe account in the gym's name, and ClassIQ connects your own via Stripe Connect. Two differences: PushPress can't attach a pre-existing Stripe account, and its effective card rates are plan-dependent (4.99% on Free) rather than Stripe's published rate passed through untouched.
What's in Grow that ClassIQ includes?
The prospect pipeline, email campaigns, automated journeys, two-way messaging, and at-risk flags — all part of the flat price here. The honest caveat: Grow includes SMS campaigns and website building; ClassIQ is email-first (transactional SMS as an add-on) and builds no websites.
How do family accounts compare?
PushPress models families as sub-accounts sharing a parent's email — but each sub-account needs its own membership plan. ClassIQ's guardian accounts manage dependents without child emails, and family billing rolls up to one payer.
We run multiple locations — which fits better?
PushPress has no first-party multi-location documentation and third parties describe it as basic. ClassIQ includes locations with per-location schedules, kiosks, and check-in under the same flat price.
