ClassIQ vs Wodify
Wodify grew up on CrossFit whiteboards and it shows: its workout tracking, leaderboards, and competition tooling are the best in the category, and its martial-arts push — belt progressions, waiver enforcement, even vocabulary renaming — is real. The structural difference is money and exit. Wodify runs payments through its master Stripe account with plan-dependent rates and an undisclosed onboarding fee, and only the entry tier has a public price. ClassIQ publishes one price, adds 0% to Stripe's published rate, and the Stripe account is yours from day one.

Why owners move from Wodify.
Your revenue, their account
Wodify Payments runs on a master Stripe account: rates vary by subscription tier, next-day payouts are reserved for Ultimate, and leaving means a provider-to-provider card export rather than walking away with your own account. ClassIQ puts the Stripe account in your name on day one.
Sales-quoted pricing
Only Essentials has a public number; the tiers with automations, insights, and the best processing rates are demo-gated. ClassIQ's entire catalog is one published price — this page is the sales call.
The whiteboard tax
If your floor doesn't run scored workouts, you're paying for a performance suite you'll never open. ClassIQ covers the business side — schedule, money, members, front door — without the layer built for another sport.
Feature by feature.

Where Wodify genuinely wins.
Workout tracking, bar none
Whiteboard, PRs, leaderboards, licensed programming, heart-rate add-ons, and Arena for competitions. If scored workouts are your culture, this is their moat — ClassIQ does not compete with it.
Retention AI
At-risk prediction and automated client journeys on the upper tiers are genuinely sophisticated.
24/7 access & hardware
Door-access control and kiosk display panels support an unstaffed floor — a hardware ecosystem ClassIQ does not offer.
If those are the features your studio runs on, Wodify may be the right tool — and this page should make that easy to see.
"As low as" is doing heavy lifting.
Wodify's card rate is "as low as 2.6% + 25¢" — on the Ultimate tier, which has no public price. Other tiers pay more, an onboarding fee applies, and instant payouts cost an extra 1.75%. ClassIQ has one flat software price and passes Stripe's published rate through untouched, with payouts landing in an account you own.
Switching is our job, not yours.
Done-for-you migration
Export your members from Wodify (or hand us the spreadsheet) and we import them — mapped, previewed, and verified before anything goes live. Included, not an add-on.
Your Stripe account, not ours
Payments run on a Stripe account you own. Saved cards and payment history stay yours — including if you ever leave ClassIQ.
No contract holding the door
Month-to-month, no setup fee, CSV export any time. If ClassIQ stops earning its keep, leaving is a download — the same standard we'd hold Wodify to.
Common questions.
- Does ClassIQ track workouts and PRs like Wodify?
- No. ClassIQ has no whiteboard, no leaderboards, no performance tracking — deliberately. If scored WODs are central to your gym's culture, Wodify's tracking is the best there is and you should weigh it heavily. If your floor is martial arts or classes without scores, you're currently paying for that moat without swimming in it.
- How does getting out of Wodify work?
- Client and membership lists export as CSVs, waivers should be downloaded before you close the account, and saved cards move via Stripe's provider-to-provider PAN export out of Wodify's master account. We run your member import for you; packs, holds, and custom billing still need manual reconstruction on the switch.
- Wodify has Belt Progressions — how does ClassIQ compare?
- Wodify tracks belts with attendance-based promotion readiness and certificates, which works. What it lacks is the event side: no grading/testing event workflow. ClassIQ pairs progression tracks and assessments with cohort rosters for test day and paid gradings sold as ticketed events — the operational half of promotions.
- Is Wodify a long-term contract?
- No — to their credit, plans are month-to-month and they've dropped the long-contract model. The stickiness is structural instead: the payments account is theirs, so switching means a card-data export project. Factor that cost in whichever direction you decide.
